What we collect
When you sign in with GitHub OAuth, we store your GitHub username, email, and avatar URL. We do not collect or store your GitHub password.
How we use your data
Your email is used to send daily digests if you opt in. Your GitHub profile is used to personalize your news scoring. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Cookies
We use a single httpOnly session cookie for authentication. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies (unless you opt into PostHog).
Data retention
Your account data is retained until you delete your account. Digest history is retained for 30 days. You can request deletion by contacting us on GitHub.
Third-party services
Atlas uses GitHub OAuth for authentication, Groq and Gemini for AI scoring, and Resend for email delivery. Each service has its own privacy policy.
